Bearman Cartoon: Employee Job Satisfaction

Thanks to Chiraq for his post that gave me the idea to create this editorial cartoon.

With the economy sucking wind, I don’t hear my friends complaining right now about their crappy jobs. Instead everyone is singing the praises of their company (at least to their boss) in hopes of making it through the next round of cuts.

    Thanks Bearman. Nice one.

And it’s true. I think a lot of people are starting to realize that they can’t take their jobs for granted. That they should smarten up, get off the internet, get up of their ass and get back to work!!!

(Sorry, but my clerk visits this site and I want to “send a message”)

  2. Chirag Chamoli Says:

Well happiness and job satisfaction should be always inverse 🙂 LOL. Bearman, thanks for the mention !

  3. Nice! Well done Bearman, you captured the sentiment perfectly!

  4. Great comic! I know how it is to run around the workplace trying to look busy and valuable when the business is in the crapper. The secret is not to stay still and always look like you’re searching for something. Oh, and don’t forget to flash the bossman that frozen smile, letting him know how happy you are just to be there. 🙂

    You captured it perfectly, B!

  5. Nah, if you move fast enough you look like a go-getter and you appear to be taking the initiative. It’s all covered in my upcoming book, “How Lazy Smurf Got His Pension”. If the boss catches you just sitting there looking confused, just tell him that you’re busy trying to keep your lumbar-supported office chair from floating. He’ll scratch his head and walk away.

  6. yea and now people are forced to work twice as hard for half the pay and just be thankful they have a job. I complain to myself all the time: self, tomorrow you really need to get up before 1″
